I honestly cannot rate this place highly enough (and I’m a fussy eater). The staff are so friendly and remember you even when it’s been a while. The food is cooked fresh and is so tasty. The jewel in Plymouth’s crown!! Awesome
Stumbled upon the venue en route to the Barbican. Tempted by the menu and fairly priced selection of options. We were welcomed with a smile, placed our order and swiftly received the freshly cooked burgers. The presentation was very good and service with a smile from all the staff made our choice to stop here absolutely the right one. Fueled for a further explore of the area, my son said he wants to come back for more. Probably the best burger I've ever eaten.

We were greeted by Taylor, who was polite, helpful, and made sure to check in on us throughout the meal. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the Hatfield burger and was blown away by the perfect balance of sweet and salty flavors. I went for the P&L burger, which had bold flavors with the pickle mayo and bacon jam—simply amazing! The skin-on fries, seasoned with paprika, were also a highlight. We left completely satisfied—the portion sizes were just right, and the quality was outstanding, especially for the price. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Love this place!!! These burgers are right up there for me! Even the funky flavours, I've had the iced bun one and the biscoff one. Both worth trying but the P&L is THE one! Great service. Friendly folks. The home pickles are a must. All of the house sauces are unbelievably tasty. Have taken two groups of mates and had several 'omg this is the best burger I've ever had' comments. Can't wait for some lovely winter evenings when they have the awning up!
This place and food is outstanding... Honestly if you live in Plymouth and haven't been here it is a must!!! We love burgers.. and always look for burger places to eat. Whilst being away just for the night we found this place online and have been tonight and honestly its the best burgers we have had and we have had alot of burgers! friendly welcome, fast service and the best food! Smashed it!!
Honestly, it's one of the best burgers and chips I have had in a while! Even though I found it difficult to find, as it is within another business. I must say this is a find, and I honestly wish I lived closer to return as and when ... not to mention the great business it resides in that serves all sorts of great Ales/Lagars! Staff were really lovely, and they went through all the options, including the beer they have available through the other business. Prices were great in comparison to similar style establishments and honestly done a lot better! Highly recommend if you are in the area!
Okay..Smashland burgers. Wow. Just wow. I eat out alot..I leave reviews alot..this place has smashed (literally) every other burger joint in Plymouth & beyond. The service brilliant. The patties..crisp..sauces..Just yum. *please advertise more guys!* people need to know you exist..you owe it to their stomachs.
Wicked place to eat! Super cool spot by the water, friendly and helpful staff, wonderfully creative and delicious menu. The burgers are amazing. The veggie one is really good too, and you can ask to swap a meet for a veggie patty on any of their burgers. The fries are really good too, and they give you loads. Would highly recommend it, and I'm planning to return many times!
